Avid hunter? Belong to a lodge? Enjoy the outdoors? Maybe you just want to rib your hunting buddy with a fun plaque to remind him of that bad shot he took. This project just might be for you.
Even if you're not a hunter this project is perfect for making all sorts of other projects. House and cottage signs would be a natural use for this project. With the oak leaf being a symbol of strength you now have a great starting point to make a family sign to hang on your camper or house.
We have designed a few neat features into this project that will make it even easier to use and reuse. These features include:
- Plaques are modeled to easily accept v-carving or even the addition of another model.
- Oak Leaf is curled up on the right side to make it easier to overlap them with other models.
- Mounting Plaque is raised so you can merge in models along its edge.
Not sure where to put that Deer Trophy your wife absolutely hates? She might be more inclined to let you hang it over the fireplace if it had a nicer looking mount... just a thought.
