Veterans Day, Remembrance Day or November 11th is a day to take the time to remember the men and women that have served or are serving our countries protecting our freedoms and the freedoms of others. On November the 11th please take the time to remember or thank a member of your Armed Forces for what that have given up so that we can enjoy all that we somethings take for granted.

This "May We Never Forget" memorial plaque was created using models from these CNC projects and VA3D models:

Round Sign - Mother's Garden No.1
Star - Western Saloon No.2
Helmet and Boots - VectorArt3D Model (.V3M version - A Style)

The fonts we used to simulate the v-carving on this layout are called: Constantia

Note - This hack was assembled in Aspire V8 for presentation purposes. It could have been done in VCarve Pro V8 or VCarve Desktop.

VectorArt3D is a great source of single models to hack into your layouts and it's also a Vectric Company!

Models can be purchased from VectorArt3D as Vectric .V3Ms and work perfectly in VCarve Desktop, VCarve Pro V8 and Aspire.

Don Harding sent in this photo of a finished Veterans memorial he created in corian. He laminated up some corian sheets using a special jig he made, machined the plaque and then blacken the letters.

Thanks to our latest project, Let's Ride No.1, we have added in a wing model. This is perfect for creating memorial layouts or even pilots wings!

This memorial plaque layout was created using models from these projects:

Heart - Free Heart and Ribbon Getting Started Project

The font we used to simulate the v-carving on this layout is call: Palatino Linotype

Introducing our latest addition to the Project Shop...
F urry Friends No.1

Over the past months we have been asked several times if we had a project that could be used to create a pet memorial for a beloved pet. This is our first installment of, what we hope will be, a continuing theme helping you to celebrate your current pets and the special four legged friends you have lost along the way.

This project has been specially designed for versatility so it can be used over and over again. The pet collar and leash can accept either of the pet tags or just be left as they are. The pet tags and pet bowl can be V-Carved with a name or word or you can tuck the leash under the bowl to create a more complex layout.
