Hack of the Week No.97

It's been a long winter and it's just about time to get back to enjoying the outdoors.  For those of you that enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking and camping you'll be visiting your local outfitters to pick up some new gear.  

This "Outfitters" sign was created using models from these projects:

The font we used to simulate the v-carving on this layout is call:  Bookman

Note - This hack was assembled in Aspire V8 for presentation purposes.  It could have been done in VCarve Pro V8 or VCarve Desktop.

What a wreath!

WOW... now this is a Design and Make hack if we ever saw one!

This sports wreath, sent in by Jim Coats, hacks together almost all of our sports projects and then tosses in the fall wreath from the Thanksgiving No.1 CNC project and the ribbon from the Pick-Up League Golf CNC project!  This is the ultimate door hanging for the super sports fan!!!

Thanks Jim for sharing... and from what he says... "Got bored this weekend" turned it something pretty neat!

Pick-Up League - Golf - Get ready for spring!

This time of the year golf is only played in the warmer parts of the world.  If you happen to live someplace where you never need a snow shovel then you can probably hit the green anytime you want.  For some you may need to wait for warmer temperatures and the white stuff to be gone.

Either way you are sure to be near a golf course at some point and this project will come in very handy!

There are countless reasons why you should hit the green on occasion.  Some might look at it as a way to get a bit of exercise, do a bit of networking or just to get out and get some fresh air.  There is always a need to celebrate a great shot, a good game or show that new player he is excelling.  This project is perfect for creating that neighborhood "Ace" award or used to create a plaque for your local charity tournament
