Brian Phillips - "Weekend CNC Warrior" Approved!

As you know we really enjoy getting images of customer projects and can't wait to share them.  Every one of them is unique, shows how versatile our projects are and how much you all enjoy using them.  Keep them coming!

This one from Brian is something we don't see very often... but hope to see more of in the future. Did we mention this one came all the way from New Zealand!!!

Brian used our Tiki Bar Bar No.1 to create this great bar light!

"I am using Vetric Aspire software and have a Salecnc XJ1224 router. I'm currently trying different things to be able to build up a business in the future and have 14 or so of your projects."

WOW... Brian you sound like you should be getting to some project hacking soon!!!

Brian thanks for "lightning" up our day and your bar with this project.

Jim Coats - "Weekend CNC Warrior" Approved!

Jim is a long time customer of ours and we had the opportunity to meet in person at the 2014 Vectric User Group meeting in Orlando.  It was a great opportunity to chat about his set up and what he planned to do once he retired.

Since then Jim sure has been busy in his shop making all sorts of great projects including this beauty.

Jim hacked together this sign using models from 3 of our projects.

Jim mentioned this about the font he used:

"The “Welcome” font is “Westerne” (yes with the e at the end of western) and the rest is in “Rustler”."

"The finish is with Folk Art Home Decor Chalk paint, then distressed with their Antique wax and a coat of clear wax buffed to finish. They were purchased from Joann’s fabric and crafts.

I designed it in Aspire 4.5 and machined it with a 1/8" ball nose bit on a ShopBot Buddy.

The standard place to “Check Your Guns” is at the door; however in our neck of the woods, we also want the hats off while inside. So checking both after entry to the bar was logical. ;) "

Our hats are off to you Jim for sharing this great project with us and taking the time to write up all of the descriptions to illustrate how you made it happen!

Yee Ha! Western Saloon No.3 has arrived.

Say "Howdy!" to our latest addition to the Western Saloon series of projects.  This one will add a bit more of the wild west to your collection.  There is nothing more wild than a saloon filled with gamblers and a lawman just outside the swinging doors.

This project has all the makings to set the right mood for a friendly neighborhood Texas Hold' Em tournament.

Maybe you or you know of a rifle or pistol collector that could use a new plaque for their gun cabinet.

How about making a sign for your favorite Deputy Sheriff's bedroom.   Now that might earn you a few coins to trade in on that new router attachment!  Darn Toot'n!

This project includes 6 models:

  • Wagon Wheel
  • Sheriff's Star
  • Playing Cards
  • Mounted Longhorns
  • Western Leaver Action Rifle
  • Rustic Sign

Plus 1 Assembled Layout and Project Sheet for just $30.00

Models included in this project.

Assembled layout included - just add V-Carving.

Here are a couple of layout idea to get you started!
