We thought it would be fun to try and create a Design and Make CNC Project Hack for every day we are at the IWF Show in Atlanta.  This hack was put together on the first day of the show as a bit of a demo.

"Shop Time, My Time"  Clock Layout

We know it can be hard to get personal shop time during the summer months, so when you do it needs to count!  This fun shop clock layout will always be there to remind you and your "guests" that the time in the shop is your time!

We also took advantage of the flat space on the measuring tape model to add the logo for the IWF Atlanta trade show.  This could be the logo of your company or any other v-carving for that matter... the sky's the limit!

Nothing a chisel and a mallet won't fix.

One Possible Layout

Only Pops knows how to wield that chisel like they did in the old days.  That's right, no need for those new fangled CNC machines.  All ya needed was a saw, sharp chisel and a mallet and you could make just about anything Grandma needed.

This project is a nod to the old ways of building a timber home or making a rocking horse.  You know the time before anyone ever thought of a CNC machine or new what a 1/8" ballnose end mill was.  These old school tools are still important to have in the shop just in case technology fails you... and that never happens... right?
