It's been a long winter and it's just about time to get back to enjoying the outdoors. For those of you that enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking and camping you'll be visiting your local outfitters to pick up some new gear.

This "Outfitters" sign was created using models from these projects:

The font we used to simulate the v-carving on this layout is call: Bookman

Note - This hack was assembled in Aspire V8 for presentation purposes. It could have been done in VCarve Pro V8 or VCarve Desktop.

This time of the year, when it's colder outside, it not too hard to find yourself thinking about summer. If you are fond of fishing then this layout might just get you dreaming of your favourite fishing hole or last years fishing trip.

This "Guide Service" sign layout was created using models from these CNC projects:

Barrel Top - Wine Bar No.1
Fishing Fly - Gone Fishing No.1
Bass - Free Clipart that came with your Vectric software or available from VectorArt3D

The fonts we used to simulate the v-carving on this layout are called: GeoSlab and French Script (edited)

Note - This hack was assembled in Aspire V8 for presentation purposes. It could have been done in VCarve Pro V8 or VCarve Desktop.

VectorArt3D is a great source of single models to hack into your layouts and it's also a Vectric Company!

Models can be purchased from VectorArt3D as Vectric .V3Ms and work perfectly in VCarve Desktop, VCarve Pro V8 and Aspire.

Would you rather be fishing?

Fishing, for some, is a passion and an activity they would rather be doing then almost anything else. They say that fly fishing is more than just a sport but time to reflect on life and enjoy nature at it's best. If this sounds familiar to you, then we are sure you'll appreciate this project.

This set of models is perfect for creating a sign for a fishing lodge, retirement gift or even catch and release tournament prize plaque. There is a good chance if you're a fly fisherman then you know a fly tyer that could use a new sign for their business or a display plaque to show off their best work. Don't forget about the guides at you local fishing lodge, a gift for them might just earn you a bit of time at their best-kept secret fishing hole!
